Bad at Math

"Bad at Math" features a scenario in which a father finds out about a low grade on a math test.

Bad Words / Awkward Hug

"Bad Words" is a vignette about a mother and daughter which addresses how to communicate effectively with teenagers about cultural and peer influences.

"Awkward Hug" (starting at 14:05) is a vignette about a father and son revolving about the very first hug between a teenager and his father, which addresses the importance of physical contact and talking with your children to help convey love and appreciation.

Just Be Happy / Fruit Basket

"Just be happy" features a scenario in which a daughter reveals to her mother that she is depressed.

"Fruit Basket" (16:08) features a scenario in which a daughter feels embarrassed by her mother at college orientation.

What's Wrong With You?

"What's Wrong With You?" is a vignette involving a mother and daughter, which takes place after a mother finds bloody tissues in the trash and becomes concerned that her daughter may be cutting herself. We discuss how to approach discussing difficult topics with teenagers.
